FWC organizes another “Make It Happen” Event for the MDG Project

In the context of the European Union funded “Youth Ambassadors for Millennium Development Goals”, Future Worlds Center organized a second Friendly Football match with youth in Cyprus. This MDG Happening took place in the north of Cyprus in Lefke on Saturday 5 July 2009. Cameroonian students from Nicosia and Larnaca played a friendly match with students from Famagusta and Lefke. It was an interesting and fun encounter among the Youths to promote MDGs on the island. The youth of the South came out victorious scoring 2 goals to 1 after a hard struggle. The Youth also learned about the importance of the Millennium Development Goals and discussed ways youth in Cyprus can support MDG implementation globally.
